Hi! My name is Carolyn Johnson! My name means Song of Joy! I am passionate about bringing joy into spaces and places!
As an artist, I strum acoustic guitar and sing my original songs to bring the love of God.
My professional career is in Information Technology. I started as a computer programmer many years ago, and am now an experienced Project Management Professional*.* I combine my computer programming skills, analytical abilities and creativity to deliver valuable software solutions. I also sit on the Board of a local non-profit and bring strategic solutions.
I am an entrepreneur, which I discovered in late 2020 after joining 100X. Since then, I have created websites and produced a podcast. I hold thirteen registered copyrights of my original songs, have recorded one album of my guitar and singing, composed and recorded one full song, and am working on composing a second song. I created my LLC in November of 2022. I have run four challenges under the mentorship of Pedro Adao and his team within Crush It U. I am a 100X certified coach, providing group and individual coaching for kingdom entrepreneurs. I have led Family Room 16 since June 11, 2021.
I love to anoint spaces and places with music and the Joy of the Lord. This picture was taken on a recent assignment, when I was singing in every room of a 5-bedroom single family home.
My favorite bible passage is Ephesians chapter 6, verses 10-20. I like this passage because I am a warrior in the Kingdom of God. I imagine myself wearing the armor of God while I live my life, do my work, and pray.
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.” - Ephesians 6:10-20 ESV
My favorite quote from Pedro Adao is “All of my best ideas come from God”. I love this quote because Pedro said it with the utmost humility to a secular audience. To me, this is a great example of how Pedro honors God, without being preachy. Pedro references this in “Real Talk Monday with Pedro - 11/28/22” at the 28:00 minute mark.
